At Princess Traditional & Fashion Designers, we believe every outfit tells a story. Based in the heart of Edenvale, Johannesburg, we are a proudly South African fashion design studio specialising in custom-made traditional and contemporary clothing.

Based in Edenvale, we serve clients across Johannesburg — including Kempton Park, Bedfordview, Germiston and Boksburg — and beyond into Gauteng and the wider South Africa. We also welcome orders from across Africa and internationally, anywhere in the world. Measurements are done conveniently via video consultation, so distance is never a barrier to wearing a custom design. Walk-ins, appointments, WhatsApp orders and virtual consultations welcome from anywhere.

Do you make outfits for all South African cultures?

Yes — we design traditional wear for all South African cultures including Xhosa, Zulu, Sepedi, Tswana, Sotho, Tsonga, Ndebele, Venda, Swati and more. Every design is crafted with deep respect for the traditions and colour codes of each culture.

Simply WhatsApp us on 061 105 1050 with your requirements — occasion, culture, colours, measurements and preferred date. You can also visit our studio at 53 Van Riebeeck Avenue, Edenvale. We are open Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 19:30.

Standard orders take 2 to 3 weeks depending on complexity and fabric availability. For urgent orders, please contact us directly to discuss your timeline. We always recommend ordering as early as possible for weddings and large group orders.

Absolutely. We serve clients across South Africa including Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, North West and the Eastern Cape. Orders can be placed via WhatsApp and outfits are couriered nationwide. We just need your measurements and a deposit to get started.

To get started we need your occasion and date, the culture and style of outfit, your measurements (bust, waist, hips, height), your preferred colours or fabric, and any reference images if you have them. The more detail you share, the better we can bring your vision to life.
